New developments in audio playback technology (specifically the multi-channel SACD) since these Deutsche Grammophon recordings were originally made in the 1970s now allow for hearing these works as all involved in its recording conceived them thanks to Pentatones labor of love in re-mastering and re-releasing this disc to market in this format.
