What does it mean by 4000 watt thermostat?
1. You can control a 300w to 4000 watt electric heater running on 240 volts
2. Or you can control four 1000 watt electric heaters running on 240 volts for example.
As long as your total wattage is below 4000 watts or 16.7 amps this this thermostat should work.
If you have a 120 volts you can control up to total 2000 total watts of electric heaters
Example:1. One 1500 watt electric wall heater
or
2. Two 1000 watt electric heater running on 120 volts.
As long as your total wattage is below 2000 watts or 16.7 amps this linr voltage thermostat should work.
