This is the traditional soap block that has been made in Nablus already for centuries. And it is still made because it is a very good product. The soap contains over 80% olive oil and it is hand cut and stamped. Olive oil supports regeneration of the skin tissue and regulation of the natural moisture balance. The oil is rich in high quality antioxidants, which neutralize free radicals that can be harmful to the skin. Olive oil is rich in substances with anti-inflammatory effects. Olive oil soap makes the skin smooth and soft and it stimulates, strengthens and nourishes the skin. Suitable for all skin types. Today there are still a few soap makers active in Nablus, Palestine with the most prominent of them being the Nablus Soap Company. Olive soap from Nablus is made by hand using a small number of all natural ingredients, with a mixture of olive oil and salt as the basis. This is a very delicate process, which cannot just be done by following the recipe. Decades of experience and knowledge of the Tbeleh family is used by the soap master Mojtaba Tbeleh. The mixture is cooked and then dried. After that, the blocks are carved by the Tubeili, soap makers, and piled into characteristic geometric towers. The soap must then be left to dry for another few months before it is ready to use.
