Our Jewelweed soap has been used successfully for poison ivy, poison oak, acne, chiggers, eczema and psoriasis. Jewelweed, also known as touch me not, is a plant that grows wild in Missouri. The small seed pods, when touched, actually burst open, throwing the seed for quite a distance. This plant has been used successfully for years to help clear up poison ivy. We have been wildcraft harvesting and extracting it for a few years as well as making soap with the extract. Our Jewelweed soap not only contains jewelweed but also Tea Tree oil (antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal), calendula to speed healing time of any cuts or scratches, and geranium to aid in the generation of new skin cells. We have found it to help with almost any skin condition. For best results, the area of rash should be washed with the jewelweed soap and then followed by applying the extract.
