"Fair Isle" is the name of the knitting technique which creates the signature pattern on these pajamas which you probably remember from Christmas sweaters years ago. It's named after one of the Shetland islands, presumably because the island is known for the technique. We had to share that because we wanted you, too, to have this mental image: Batman with a round, fluffy Shetland pony for transport instead of the Batmobile. "Alfred, fetch me my pony!"
