We also get feedbacks from our customers using them as strobe lights by connect with the switch or relay. Because of the placement of the leads and how the lamp is mounted, You will need to drill holes for the screws AND for the wire leads to surface. The screw actually hold both the backing and the lens cover on, making it sealed and watertight. Also If you install them vertically they are more visible than if you install them horizontally;
