Prestige Insulin Cooling Bag for Temperature Sensitive Medications;

The iCool Prestige allows for the transport and safeguards insulin or other temperature sensitive medications in warm or hot climate by providing a cooling support for the medication. The iCool Prestige is designed to hold about 3 weeks of supply and provides a cooling temperature between 36° - 46°F (2° - 8°C) for up to 24 hours. The iCool bag uses a new generation of chemical gel pack that generates very little condensation and have a slower thawing period than traditional ice packs. This allows patients with diabetes or those using temperature sensitive mediciations to transport their medications for longer cooling period. The iCool Prestige keeps insulin or other temperature sensitive medications cool for up to 24 hours at 36°F - 46°F (2 to 8°C). The bag also includes separate compartments to carry all your diabetes accessories (blood glucose meter, needles, bandages, etc.). Vials of insulin, pens, and other temperature sensitive medications were taken out from the refrigerator. The vials and pens as they are already cold, were inserted with a high-powered scientific thermometer probe. The vials were then placed in the medicine cooling bag with frozen gel packs and then temperature recording commerced for certain duration of time. These temperature recordings were captured for vials and pens and not for the bags.
