Your original Gold emblem will be drilled drill bit (drill bit size does not need to be specific just enough to get a flat screw driver into the hole). The drilled hole should be centered in bowtie do not drill to deep just past gold potion about a 1/4" deep is enough use flat bladed screw driver to pry the gold bowtie out of the chrome trim. Clean the chrome trim where the gold bowtie was with rubbing alcohol. Wait a moment for alcohol to dry then tape the black bowtie into the chrome trim housing. The whole process will take about 5 mins. Its actually very easy even though drilling seems strenuous it actually makes the installation quite simple. **Please note these bowties will not fit 2014- Older Tahoe's and Suburbans also will not fit any other Chevrolet truck only the Suburban and Tahoe 2015-2016.
