The existence of extraterrestrials may seem a charming whimsy. But is someone out there actually sending us a message? In "Little Green Men," journalist and documentarian Bill Retherford explores the serious and scientific search to find an alien civilization somewhere in our galaxy. The greatest adventure of all, say astronomers, is within our grasp -- if only we're listening.

A 4-time Emmy-winning journalist, Bill Retherford is a 2013 recipient of the RTDNA/Edward R. Murrow Award for Excellence in Writing. As a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Fellow, he received his M.A. in Environmental, Health and Science Journalism from Columbia University (and won Columbia’s Science Thesis prize) in May 2014. Bill lives in New York City.
