The 2500 ARB Touring Awning, always the most popular model due to its large under cover area, however it was not suitable for vehicles with short roof racks such as canopy and cab racks that do not offer sufficient support to the awning mount beam. Customer feedback showed a desire to fit the larger awning to vehicles with short racks. For this reason, the shorter 2000 ARB Touring Awning has been redesigned to extend an additional 1.3 ft. to a total 8.2 ft., offering almost 20 percent more undercover area. The extra length out from the vehicle offered a more versatile use of undercover space with the ability to place chairs and tables away from the vehicle, as well as offering additional protection from the elements.
