Soon, he’ll deploy American troops in South Vietnam. And Jason Follett, a Midwestern boy with a secret, heads to college in a world that’s turning upside down. Behind the mask of a successful athlete and fraternity leader, he’s dogged by questions about his homosexuality. To protect his secret, he violates his moral code. Confronting the ugly face of racism, he finds his inner voice. He protests against the war. His overbearing father forces him to conform. But he breaks with his past to find a new direction.
