This is 18 inch high from tip to tip. Flexible gooseneck style. All you need to to do is loosen the bolt on your passenger seat and fasten the bracket. It will sit at a perfect angle for viewing. Takes 5 minutes to install. Wanna mount your head in the car but cannot access the seat bolt? Additional hardware is included if you want to permanently attach this using screws right to the floor. Mounting is a fairly simple operation. You will need a mounting bracket such as the YSK-8900 (this is not included). Our mount includes a standard AMPS mounting pattern. Most Yaesu mounting kits have the AMPS pattern to match up to our hardware but a few will need to have a few holes drilled thru it to fit the AMPS pattern, and after you do that, the fit is very clean.
