Re-released to mark the 250th anniversary of the death of Jean-Philippe Rameau, this collection of his keyboard music - performed by the French pianist Marcelle Meyer and first released in 1954 - has achieved legendary status among connoisseurs of the piano. Beyond inspiring the composers of her time, the charismatic Meyer played a key role in reviving Baroque keyboard music, and especially the works of Rameau.
