Small jars measure 2" tall x 1.75" wide and hold a volume of a scant 1/4 cup. This is the smaller version of our magnetic jar; it will not accommodate transferring traditional grocery store spice containers. Ground spices should be used within 6-12 months. Please purchase accordingly to ensure fresh spices. Personally, we use a combination of small jars, with a few larger jars for our favorites. Shop at a local bulk store and buy only the amount of spice you need; ditch those plastic disposable spice jars!
