DuChateau Maintenance Oil is an All Natural, Low VOC, high-quality product for the maintenance of hard-wax oiled surfaces. DuChateau Maintenance Oil is resistant to wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juices, milk, water, saliva, and sweat. A hard-wax oil finished floor by definition has been saturated throughout with oils that make the floor relatively impermeable to foreign contaminants. Periodic application of DuChateau Maintenance Oil rejuvenates the surface coat to prevent desaturation of the hard-wax oils on the wood surface.
