NOTE - Two common issue experienced when buying a DC power extension cable.
1. Wrong Plug Size - This is the most common problem. Please check your device by measuring the barrel plug of the power adapter. This will only accept 1.3mm (inside diameter) x 3.5mm (outside diameter) plugs.
1.3mm x 3.5mm plugs are commonly used for small digital device. However, not all wireless IP camera uses 1.3mm x 3.5mm plugs. Please check the plugs size before purchase.
2. Lack of Power - The longer the cable, the more resistance and power loss, and hence requires more power from power supply. Most commercial products do not provide a strong power adapter. At 20ft length, the power loss is noticeable.
Please make sure you have adequate power supply to use extension cable

Make sure that the power adapter can supply enough power over the extension cable. From 20ft and up the resistance and the drop off in power may become noticeable.
