These concerti have achieved iconic status within a violinist's repertory. Gil Shaham is the leading violinist of his generation. Conductor David Robertson conducts three of the concerti performances. Four of the world's leading orchestras are heard here, including the New York Philharmonic and the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
