The batteries can be replaced with any Alkaline or rechargeable AA size batteries (don't mix&match batteries).
CHARGING/POWER NOTE: Cool On The Go Recharge can only recharge the batteries using the included High Performance 7.5 Volt AC CHARGER. Cool On The Go Recharge works as a battery charging station for AA size rechargeable batteries too! The USB cable will power the fan using any standard USB adapters or PC/MAC USB port.
