This brush is a great brush for beginners to start learning calligraphy or drawing. The bristle is made so it feels like classic wolf hair in the past. Hair won't fall of, won't "open" and will serve the user well. See size comparison with a CD in the photo. ***This brush is excellent for beginners ONLY (as could be seen from the price)***. If you are an advance user/pro, please consider other better brushes from our collection.

CARE

Before the very first time use, the brush needs to be prepared first: Press the brush hair, relax the hair. Put in warm water. Let it sit for at least 3 minutes. Then wash away any falling hair.

To take care of the brush:

. Discard the plastic cap. Never use it again. The moist collected inside the plastic cap will damage the hair.
. For storage: best is to hang the brush when not used. See photo here for an example: ASIN B00G9JATKC.
. Wash after use to remove the ink in the hair.
. Before each use, wash in the water first before dipping it in the ink.
