Drill America DWT Series Qualtech hand threading tap is used to re-thread damaged and/or jammed threads. Taper style: starts the thread square with the workpiece. Plug style: generally used in thru holes. Bottom style: generate the thread to the bottom of the hole. Made of carbon steel. Uncoated tools feature just the base substrate without any additional treatment or coatings and are suitable for a wide range of applications. Round shank with square end. Right-Hand cut tools have a cutting action that engages when they are run in a clockwise direction.
