Solid brass barrel and cap are treated with hardened (baked) enamel and then finished in triple layer of translucent coating to prevent the surface from scratching. Brass fittings are 18-karat gold-plated. Front part is made of solid brass and painted in black lacquer. Screw-on cap. Fine point German-made Xezo ruby rolling ball refill provides smooth skip-free writing. Total writing length of refill exceeds 3280ft/1000m! Rollerball refill is selectively interchangeable with a variety of rollerball ink refills including Montblanc, Parker, Cross, Waterman, Schmidt, Sheaffer, S.T. Dupont, Visconti, Pelikan, Dunhill, Delta, Krone, Ancora and Cartier ink refills.
