The double-sided DGK Color Tools 4N6 forensic ruler features multiple essential forensic photographer's tools:
Both sides have rulers (one side metric, one side inches) on the top and side, plus additional rulers on the inside of an L-shape. Multiple cross-hair perspective circles compensate for distortion that might occur from oblique camera angles. 8 step chromatic skin color scale for reference. 11-step gray scales assist the photographer in setting the correct exposure or density the photographic print or image. 18% gray area reflectance for white balancing.
Designed for both injury and bite mark documentation and crime scene photography:
The 4N6 features an American Board of Forensic Odontology (ABFO) type L-shaped ruler for accurate bitemark measurement and photography. Accurate to 1 mm or less. Cross hair circles for photogrammetry corrections. Space is provided for recording crime scene data on one side, and patient and injury data on the other side. Scales can be individually marked so that there is no confusion as to which scale appears in each photograph.
