Symphony No 3 & Ouverture de Concert;

Ondine is pleased to announce the second CD of an Enescu cycle with the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of its former artistic director Hannu Lintu. For this release the Ouverture de concert sur des thèmes dans le caractere populaire roumain Op. 32 and the Symphony No. 3 Op. 21 were recorded, featuring the Tampere Philharmonic Choir in the third symphony. The first release (ODE 1196-2), featuring Symphony No. 2 Op. 17 and the Chamber Symphony Op. 33, was highly praised by the critics and nominated for the Gramophone Awards 2013.
