Open Spaces is award-winning pianist-composer Stanton Lanier's 8th release and 5th with Grammy Award Winning Producer Will Ackerman. 12 all-new original tracks feature three Grammy Award winning guest artists (Jeff Haynes - Percussion, Eugene Friesen - Cello, Charlie Bisharat - Violin), along with Principal French Horn with the Boston Pops Orchestra, Richard 'Gus' Sebring, bass by Tom Eaton, and ethereal vocals by Noah Wilding. The album was recorded at Will Ackerman's Imaginary Road Studios in Windham County, Vermont from January to July 2013.

Stanton is the Founder of Music to Light the World, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization which has donated over 50,000 CDs to cancer and hospital patients through its Get Music Give Hope program.
