Fill the bottom tray with water, place the cover on top (note that some water will squirt out from the top holes allowing for expansion during freezing) and put in the freezer. To remove, run the frozen ice tray under warm water for a few seconds to loosen the cover. For highly decorative ice spheres, try adding a garnish such as a mint leaf or raspberry before freezing.
