Matt Monro recorded a large number of alternate recordings of many of his songs where his interpretation differed from the originally issued version of a track. Here we have collated 27 such recordings. More often than not a certain take of a recording was not acceptable because of a mistake, weather it be technical, by an orchestra member or the singer. In Matt's case several takes were recorded of each song, not because of a mistake but because Matt had the ability to interpret a song in so many ways. That is why these recordings are a joy to listen too, a well know song sung just a bit differently than the original. All of these tracks are previously unreleased except track 13 which was first issued on 'More Heartbreakers' 1984.
