This all-thread steel pipe measures 36 inches long and is threaded 1/8 IP (actual O.D. is approx. 3/8"). It is intended for use in lamp-making and lamp repair projects and the thread will fit any fastener or accessory with a female thread designated 1/8 IP. The pipe is drilled all the way through to allow for #18 parallel lamp cord or similar size cord to pass through. If a custom length is required the pipe can easily be cut with a hacksaw.
