Reaching up to 100 feet high, white oak branches stretch nearly as wide as the tree is tall, giving them a large and grand appearance. Although they are called white oaks, their bark is typically more of a light gray. White oaks have had many uses throughout history: their wood is used in construction and making furniture; their acorns were previously used as a food source; and their bark is used either to create an herbal bath, or brewed into this fine tea.
