Engineered to perform smarter, harder and faster, while delivering an unbeatable combination of power and weight, the Bosch RHH181 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless 3/4-Inch SDS-plus Rotary Hammer Bare-Tool features Bosch's innovative CORE brushless technology package and new chiseling functionality to tackle multiple applications with one tool. The new hammer delivers the ideal combination of drilling and chiseling in a light weight and compact size, while the brushless EC motor technology extends tool life and increases tool efficiency. The Bosch CORE technology utilizes improved batteries, integrated on-board electronics and new Bosch EC brushless motor technology providing up to 65-percent longer run time and 30-percent more power, eliminating limitations of conventional motors and significantly reducing the need for tool maintenance. The RHH181 rotary hammer lasts longer and runs cooler with the integrated Electronic Motor Protection (EMP) to protect the motor from overheating and Electronic Cell Protection (ECP) to protect batteries from overload damage in demanding applications. Thanks to the new CORE technology, the new Rotary Hammer can drill more than 150 holes (1/4-Inch x 1-1/2-Inch) in concrete with one battery change. The RHH181's best-in-class size to weight ratio allows for ease of operation for the user and ensures necessary impact is still delivered. The 3-mode selector switch lets users choose between rotary hammer, rotation only and chisel mode. The Vario-Lock rotates the chisel into various positions for chiseling work at any angle.
