Rich in saturated fatty acids, this is a stable oil which should last longer than non-fractionated coconut oil and may help soften and moisturise skin and hair. Coconut Fractionated Oil contains higher levels of capric acid, which has antiviral and antimicrobial properties and caprylic acid, which has anti-fungal properties.
Added to shampoo or conditioner for added moisture, especially beneficial for all hair and skin types, but always perform a patch test before using any new product. Excellent massage oil, which can also be added to essential oils to make your own massage blends. Often used as an Aftershave balm for men and women, it can also be used as a shaving oil.
