It is a Silver Tone internal Hex Head Pipe Connector that is for closing and terminating the end of a pipe.
Its thread diameter is1/4 PT, made of metal material. Great for blocking off intake manifold water ports, water pump ports, water temp and oil sender holes, engine block holes, etc.

- Installation: Wind approx 5-8 turns clockwise of sealing tape on the male thread, insert the pipe and tighten with a hex wrench.
