Originating from great Britain, this dog breed is a very old one. Its traditional name is the "Scottie". small but stocky, this hardy, brave little dog was used to drive quarry from its burrow. It has a long head and upright pointy ears. Its coat is coarse, rough and thick, and may be black, wheat-brown or brindle. Today, Scottish terriers are mainly used as pets. Though not particularly demonstrative, they are very attached to their owners. This is a dog with a strong personality.
