Instrumental Hymns is a collection of solo piano arrangements of traditional hymn tunes in a variety of styles ranging from jazz to classical to pop. From the artist: Hymns have always had an important place in my heart. I grew up playing piano for a small rural church where our music was pretty much nothing but hymns. Even though my perspective on church music has evolved over the years, I have never lost my foundation in the traditions of evangelical hymnody. This project was born out of a desire to share that rich heritage with people in my own unique way. I hope it resonates with those of you who grew up with the great hymns of the faith, and perhaps kindles an interest in those who hear it who may not know them all that well.
