The Primary Washable Pre-Motor Filter is located directly underneath of the Dust Bin lid, and should be washed at least once every 30 days to ensure peak performance. The washable primary filter is designed to fit Hoover Part Number 303903001. Also included is the Post Exhaust HEPA Filter Cartridge, Designed to fit Hoover Part Number 303902001. This filter is located directly under where the dirt cup attaches to the vacuum, and is accessed by pressing the release cover to open and expose the HEPA Pleated Filter. This filter should be changed once every 6-12 months, average homes every 12 months, and homes with allergy sufferers, or children with Asthma, or homes with pets which vacuum more frequently, once every 6 months.
