WWII German StuG.III Ausf.G Assault Gun, Unit #31, 'Die Erzahlung des Schwarzen Ritters' ('The Story of the Black Knight'), Eastern Front, Autumn 1944. A mobile assault gun belonging to the fictitious German 'Black Knight' popularized in the Japanese Action Comic Book Series of the same name. Model is mounted on the standard Dragon black plastic base with clear acrylic case but with a printed cardboard inserted between the base and the model - this shows the ground under the vehicle and a rural bacground in the back that wraps around to the sides. The "DOM" "DOM" in the sky in the third and fourth pictures are apparently sounds of explosions as protrayed in the comic books. The fifth picture shows the box with its Japanese characters, which must mean "Die Erzahlung des Schwarzen Ritters' as printed directly beneath them. Resin model. FOR ANYONE NOT FAMILIAR WITH HOW TO INTERPRET A MODEL'S SCALE, THE MODEL IS 2 7/8 INCHES LONG. THIS IS EQUIVALENT TO DIVIDING THE LENGTH OF THE REAL VEHICLE IN INCHES BY 72.
