Ascending To Infinity;

After 15 years of friendship, hard work, passion fully
invested in the creation of symphonic music, and an epic
saga that will remain embedded in the history of heavy
metal, Rhapsody of Fire keyboard player Alex Staropoli and
guitarist/composer Luca Turilli have decided on an amicable
split.

The result is two new bands, including Rhapsody
AKA Luca Turilli s Rhapsody. For a band who have had so
many name changes throughout their fifteen year history,
this should come as no surprise to their fans. However, the
continued grace, power and symphonic supremacy found
on Ascending to Infinity is anything but expected. In addition
to Luca Turilli, this lineup includes vocalist Alessandro
Conti, guitarist Dominique Leurquin, bassist Patrice Guers
and drummer Alex Holzwarth.

They continue to excel in a genre that is simultaneously
niche and burgeoning, and one that is gaining steam
Statewide, as we ve seen over the last five years power
metal sales. This album will be a welcome addition to any
true metal fan s collection, and a worthy new chapter in
Rhapsody s storied history.
