The Big Bore - Standard & Obsolete poster is the 3rd member in our cartridge poster series. This poster focuses on Standard and Obsolete cartridges used throughout the world. The caliber ranges from the .400" N.E. 2" up to 700 Nitro Express and 4 Bore including the 30mm (A-10 Warthog round).
It includes historically significant cartridges from the late 1800s such as paper patched: Sharps, Peabody, Winchester, Nitro Express, Westley Richards, Schutzen, Grundig, and Werndl rounds. As well as military cartridges circa WWI & WWII such as the 577-450 Martini-Henry, Maxim Machine Gun, 450 Gatling, 50 Breda, Maxim Balloon Buster, 55 Boys AT, .5 Vickers, 7.9 PanzerBausch, etc. The poster gathers influential rounds up to the current day. These include cartridges such as the 416 Ruger and 416 Weatherby Magnums, 458 Socom, 458 Lott, 460 Weatherby, 505 Gibbs, 500 Jeffery, and the 577, 600, and 700 Nitro Express cartridges. The poster also includes significant long distance and Anti-Material cartridges such as the 375 & 408 Chey-Tac, 416 Barrett, 460 Steyr, 50 BMG, 50-20, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm.
This poster is dedicated to Standard and Obsolete Big Bore cartridges. Wildcat and Proprietary Big Bore cartridges are covered in the Wildcat Big Bore poster. The two posters compliment each other very well.
The poster is full color - 36" wide and 24" tall. It provides images of over 215 Big Bore rifle cartridges - all life size (within 4/1000 of an inch).
Shipping: Posters are packaged in mailing tubes. Multiple poster orders will be combined into a single mailing tube with reduced shipping costs. Packages are insured. If you receive a damaged tube please Refuse Delivery. The package will be returned and a replacement poster will be issued.
