Serpent Sermon;

Formed with the ambitious goal of becoming 'the most
brutal and blasphemous metal act ever', MARDUK have
sweat for over two decades to bring blood, darkness and
an unrelentingly extreme brand of metal to the world,
rightfully earning a place as one of Sweden's most
famous - or perhaps more accurately, infamous - black
metal bands in the process. Unleashed at the very birth
of the nineties, the band has continued to shed its skin,
serpentine-like from album to album, each time revealing
new layers, both subtle and stark, that have kept
them at the forefront of the genre. Serpent Sermon is no
different; it is both the logical next step and a huge leap
forward for a band that continues to be a guiding light -
albeit a bleak, black one - for over two decades.
