The Burley Hitch Alt Adapter enables use of the standard hitch on bicycle frames whose dropouts prevent normal installation of the hitch. The Adapter replaces your non-drive (left) side axle nut and allows the hitch to be installed without interfering with the dropout. Burley offers the Alt Adapter in several configurations; check with your authorized Burley dealer to ensure that you choose the proper configuration for your bicycle.

  • This adapter spaces out the Steel Hitch allowing bike frames with hooded/tight rear dropouts to have hitch clearance
