This is a HobbyBoss 1/350 scale assembly and painting required plastic model kit of the Yasen-class submarine, a new Russian nuclear multipurpose attack submarine and it is and projected to replace the Akula class and Oscar class attack submarines currently in service with the Russian Navy. Model kit features: Kit has well detailed 2-piece full hull (split upper and lower) with integral faired sail and raised and engraved surface features, choice of extended or retracted periscope/mast array, individually molded diving planes, optional propulsor assembly (or conventional screw), display stand and photo-etch parts (bridge spray shield, sail hatches and nameplate). Completed model is approximately 13.5" long. 5-view color painting guide for a single vessel and decals representing draft marks, sail crest (K-329 Severodvinsk), hull markings, jack and ensign.
