Repeatedly sanded to achieve super fine smoothness and elegant appearance. Glass door cover to protect from dust and damage. Brass hinges, door latches, and wall brackets to hang or simple place it on counter top. The knives are being secured by being press into the foam with the door closed. Due to the foam filling the space inside there is literally no space between the foam and the glass door. You can put knives up to 1" total thickness inside. The knives will be settled into the foam by pressure between the glass door and the foam.
