This Froebel Gift consists of 12 soft yarn balls of approximately two inches in diameter: two each in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. One set of each ball has a string, (approx. 6 inches long) with a loop on one end so that they can be dangled, the other set does not. This Froebel Gift is introduced while the child is still a toddler. Intended for children ages 18+ months (post-teething), with adult participation. The balls come packed in a ziplock polybag. Friedrich Froebel invented Kindergarten, and recognized that a ball is often a first or favorite toy of infants. It is lightweight and easy to grasp or hold.
