Regular Alclad finishes will reproduce a wide range of realistic and durable metal finishes on aircraft, car and truck models, armor and figures. For use on injection plastic kits, a primer is necessary. ALC302, ALC306, ALC309, or Tamiya plastic primer can be used. Plastic primers should be lightly polished with 1000/1200 wet-or-dry sandpaper ot give a less absorbent smooth surface.

  • Features: Pre-thinned for airbrush application, Dries in ten minutes, No sealer required, and Does not lift when masked. To obtain a great finish: The surfaces to be painted must be thoroughly clean and free from dust and fingerprints, Airbrush at 12-15 psi, Airbrush 2-3 inches away from the model, and Buffing is not necessary but tonal variation can be made by polishing selected panels with Micromesh.
