The Chemglass CG-1506-23 1000mL heavy-wall round-bottom flask is used for uniform liquid heating. The single neck has a 24/40 standard taper outer joint, and has a 130mm diameter body. Round-bottom flasks provide uniform heating. This flask is made of clear borosilicate glass for durability, chemical- and temperature-resistance, and high mechanical strength under harsh conditions, such as mechanical washing. Borosilicate glass has a low coefficient of thermal expansion and is resistant to thermal stress. The flask meets ASTM International E438, Type 1, Class A specifications for low-expansion borosilicate glass.
