Dyson spring shown here is compatible with both the DC07 and DC15 vacuum models, but is used differently on the two models. For the DC07, the spring is a replacement used in conjunction with the Wand Release Catch. On the DC15 vacuum models this spring is placed in the Duct Assembly under the Switch Cover.
