The Morris Products 70420 door switch is a 125/250 VAC, 10 amp door switch suitable for creating an automatic lighting solution for a closet or other space. It can be mounted in a door jamb in a mounting hole 2.75 x 1.25 x 2 inches (L x W x D). (L is length, the vertical distance from the top of the mounting hole to the bottom; W is width, the horizontal distance from the front of the mounting hole to the back; D is depth, the horizontal distance from the edge of the door jamb to the bottommost depth of the mounting hole.) It consists of a pushbutton switch mounted inside a metal box with a cover plate and built-in 6" wire leads for an electrical connection, and comes with mounting hardware, and is Underwriter's Laboratory (UL) listed and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certified for quality assurance. This door switch is suitable for numerous automatic lighting solutions, such as in closets, dark rooms, and walk-in refrigerators.
