Martial Arts Trilogy: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, The Banquet & Hero (Music from the Soundtracks);

The Martial Arts Trilogy features music from three martial arts film soundtracks composed by Tan Dun. Soloists are the celebrated Lang Lang (The Banquet), Yo-Yo Ma (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) and Itzhak Perlman (Hero). This compilation encompasses the music from all three soundtracks where the soloists have been featured. The Martial Arts Trilogy Tour will bring Tan Dun's music to large audiences at a series of top locations. Between July and September he will conduct his compositions at venues such as the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, and in New York as part of the Lincoln Center Out of Doors program.
