Simply loosen the large, easy to handle knob to make any adjustments as needed. You can even adjust the aluminum toggle stop in and out to micro adjust to just the right amount of distance or pressure needed for your pen. The pen press is mounted to a solid piece of anodized extruded aluminum. This provides you with enough surface area to easily clamp the pen vise to a workbench or table top. The aluminum base measures approximately 15¾" in length and is 3" wide. The max distance between the toggle stop and the UHMW stop is approximately 6 -5/8". Included with the pen press are two wooden dowels. The dowels fit neatly into the center hole on the UHMW pressure stop. Each dowel protrudes out of the UHMW pressure stop to act as a holder for the pen barrel. It's the perfect way to keep the barrel in place without having to hold in place with your fingers!
