Kutzall Original Taper Burr provides fast stock removal with an exceptional finish. The exclusive tungsten-carbide coating make Kutzall tools a great value. The 1/4"-shaft burrs are used in flex shaft tools, hand grinders, or other machinery using 1/4" collets or adjustable chucks. They are not prone to loading, but may easily be cleaned with solvent or burned clean with a gas torch. Heat generated from the torch will not harm the teeth.Note: Diameter and head length dimensions on Kutzall burrs are base dimensions. The coatings add approximately .060" - .160".
- Rapid Material Removal: Their hybrid performance removes material at an exceptional rate while maintaining surface quality ready for final finishing.
- Easy to Control: The Rotary Burrs can easily cut with or against the grain with incredibly smooth cutting action. The 1/4" diameter shaft burrs are great for larger detail jobs with your die grinder. **Must use with 1/4" collet or adjustable chuck**
- Versatile: Easily shape, contour, relieve, notch, flatten, trim, hollow or adjust a wide variety of non-metallic materials including wood, fiberglass, foam, rubber, plastic, drywall, composites and soft-stone.
- Incredibly Durable: Featuring Tungsten-Carbide abrasive, 'structured tooth' technology. Outlasts 100X conventional abrasives. Very resistant to loading, they can easily be cleaned with a soft-wire brush or burned with a torch, the heat won't harm the teeth!
