Throughout his 15-year NFL career, Steve Young earned the admiration of the nation for his actions both on and off the field. On his way to becoming the most accurate passer in NFL history, Young set the record for rushing touchdowns by a pro quarterback, went to the Pro Bowl seven times, and was named MVP of Super Bowl XXIX in 1995. Young was equally honored by fans throughout the league for being a thoughtful, gracious role model. Displaying the same drive and creativity that made him a gridiron leader, Young used his off-seasons to publish a children's book and earn a law degree from Brigham Young University.
